Three Rivers
Passed away on March 5, 2010, with family by her side. She was born on Feb. 9, 1935, the daughter of the late Oscar and Verna (Altland) Button. Audrey was a long time resident of Three Rivers, and on July 22, 1950, she married her husband Paul H. Lockwood, who preceded her in passing. She was a kind a loving woman who had many passions. She had a gift for Crocheting, and loved to make doilies, and other crafts. She enjoyed being outdoors, and was an impeccable gardener who also took great pride in her lawn. She enjoyed traveling up north, to mushroom hunt, and fish. In her later years, she became fond o f gambling, and made a few memorable trips to Las Vegas, and the Blue Chip. Family was the focus of Audrey’s life, and she never missed an opportunity to share with them. She could always be found at her grandchildren’s sporting events, and important moments. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be missed. She leaves to cherish her memory a son, Gary (Patty) Lockwood; two daughters, Gail (Cary) Tobalski, Lori (Ron) Graff; seven grandchildren, Tony, Joe, Danny and Gary Lockwood, Derrick and Kelli Schabes, and Matt Mitchell; ten great-grandchildren; two sister, Myrtie Baker and Vera Baker; and many nieces, nephews, and good friends. She is also preceded in passing by a grandson, Gregg Mitchell and two brothers, Max and Richard Button. A service will be held on Thursday, March 11, 2010, at 11:30 AM at Hohner Funeral Home, 1104 Arnold St. Three Rivers, MI 49093, where a visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:30 AM prior to the service. Pastor John Booko will officiate and interment will take place in Moorpark Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

Suzanne (Suzy) Hubbard, age 50, passed away on Saturday, March 6, 2010 surrounded by her loving family at Borgess Medical Center, following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born Oct. 19, 1959 in Passaic, New Jersey, the daughter of John T. and Muriel Briody Nykun.
Suzy was a long time resident of Three Rivers. She was employed as Director of Human Resources for the Michigan Gas Company and Document Manager at Armstrong Machine Works before her illness. Suzy’s first love was her family, especially her three boys and husband, Kim, whom she married on Aug. 13, 1983 in Three Rivers. She also loved family vacations, sunbathing at the beach, bowling, and working in her yard.
She was preceded in death by her father, John Theodore Nykun, her father-in-law, Auburn Walter Hubbard, and one aunt, Olga Herenchak.
To cherish her loving memory, she leaves her husband, Kim Auburn Hubbard, three sons, Jonathan Auburn, Jared Kim, and Joseph Donald Hubbard; her mother, Muriel Nykun; four sisters, Pamela Ann (Phillip) Hoffine, Elise “Bunny” Marie Lindberg, Lorraine Cecile Nykun, and Carla Jean (Randall) Payne; mother-in-law, Gloria Mae Hubbard; nieces and nephews, Nicole Lindberg, and her daughter, Kyla Diffendal, Erik Lindberg, Rachael, Erika, and Andrew Payne, and Michael (Lisa) Ehrenberg, and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at the Hohner Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at the Hohner Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Booko of the Riverside Church officiating.
Interment will be held in Peek Cemetery.
Memorials may be donated to the American Cancer Society or the Three Rivers Foundation c/o the John T. Nykun Scholarship.
